Adding a Provider

Access the Providers Dashboard 

  • Click on Providers on the left-hand side of the screen. 

Open Actions 

  • Click the Actions button on the right-hand side of the screen. 
  • A dropdown menu will appear with several options. 
  • Select Add Provider or Import CSV to add a new provider.

There are 3 ways a provider can be added: 

  • Add Provider: NPI Lookup - pulls provider data from the NPPES NPI Registry 
  • Add Provider: Single data entry- for adding individual providers without using the NPI number lookup. 
  • Import CSV: Importing a CSV list of providers.  Once uploaded, specific provider fields with columns in the csv can be mapped.  

Must Know! Only Super Admin users for the facility will be able to see this area.

Entering Provider Information 

There are 3 sections to fill out when adding or editing a provider. 

  • Demographics
    • This section includes general provider information, such as: 
    • First Name 
    • Last Name 
    • Email 
    • Industry-specific details (e.g., NPI and Taxonomy) 
      • Note: Only the First Name, Last Name, and Email are required to get started but SSN and DOB will be needed for verifications in the system (OIG, etc.). 

Must Know! Make sure the correct email address is entered. It will be used to request documents for the provider to upload in the system.

  • Additional Information
    • This section includes: 
    • Role 
    • Affiliation 
    • Specialty 
  • Additional Contact
    • Enter one additional contact including their name, email and phone number.
