RFX provides you with another level of log customization with conditional log templates. Conditional logs allow you to drive the columns of data based on different conditions that you set up.

Example: Conditional logs are perfect for departments like Central Sterile. Data fields are driven by a dropdown selection. For example, you could have different fields for each cycle of an autoclave.

You can convert any log template into a conditional log using the Convert To Conditional Log button located on the log create/edit screen.

Things to Know: If you convert an existing log template to a conditional log, all existing columns will be deleted.

Create Log Condition

Each row of columns in a conditional log is driven by a conditional field selection. You can give the conditional field a name on creation, which will serve as the label for the field. You can also edit the label at any time while the log is unlocked.

Add Conditional Value

You can add as many conditional values as you would like. Each value that you add will show up as an option in the dropdown list. You will set up columns for each conditional value.

Conditional Columns

Every conditional value can be set up separately in its own tab. You can add/edit/reorder columns for each tab just as you can with traditional logs.

Preview Log

Be sure to preview your log template so you can test drive the conditional values before you activate the log.
