We have added the ability to send out and complete peer reference requests inside of RFX and privileging checklists.

To accommodate this, we have added two new workflows to the document library:

  1. Authorization and Release

  2. Peer Reference

You can access both workflows in the Provider and Staff document library in your system settings. Both workflows can be assigned a Fillable Form to be filled out. Fillable forms are not required.

Authorization and Release Document

Peer Reference Document

When you add a Peer Reference document to a checklist, you will see the peer icon next to the trashcan, which allows you to send a document request out to the reference directly.

To send out a Peer Reference Request, you must have a completed Release and Authorization document inside of the checklist. Failure to have this completed will give you the following message:

Once the authorization is attached, you can send out a peer reference request. If the provider has filled out the Peer Reference section of the application, those people will be available to select.

If no application has been filled out, then you can just manually enter the peer contact information.

Once the request has been sent, you will see the status in the checklist.

The peer will receive the following email. Clicking the ‘Fill Out Form’ button will

automatically log them into RFX and into their portal. No account creation is required.

The peer will see the following request in their Portal for them to complete.

When the peer clicks the link in the requests section, they can fill out the attached fillable form. They will also have access to the signed release form.

After completion, the checklist item will be updated in the checklist as normal.
