Managing Binder Tabs
Step 1: Open a Binder:
- Option 1: Click the view button
next to the binder’s name.
- Option 2: (only if no documents in binder): Click the down caret icon
next to the binder’s name.

- Then, click Add a Document to this binder
- Then, click Add a Document to this binder
Helpful Hint: The down caret symbolwill also show documents that are Upcoming and/or current Action Needed. These notifications are determined when adding the document.
Step 2: Add a Binder Tab:
Must Know! Before a document can be added to the binder, a tab must be created.
- Add a New Tab:
- Click the Add Tab button
in the left sidebar
- Click the Add Tab button
- Name the Tab:
- Enter a name for the tab (can be edited later).
- Click Save. The new tab will appear below the Add Tab button and will auto-list in numerical or alphabetical order.
Helpful Hint: When setting up your binders and tabs, remember—they’re coded to appear in alphabetical order. If you want a different order, try one of these options:
- Start with A, B, C… and once you hit Z, go with AA, BB, CC, and so on.
- Or go numerical! Use 01, 02, 03, etc., to make sure 10 comes after 09.
Rename or Delete a Binder Tab:
- Hover Over the Tab:
- Hover cursor over the tab to modify.
- Rename the Tab:
- Click the pencil icon
to edit the tab name.
- Click the pencil icon
- Delete the Tab:
- Click the trash icon
to delete the tab.
- Click the trash icon
Must Know! When a Binder Tab is deleted, all Documents within it will be deleted and may not be recoverable.
