Managing Privileging
Access the Actions Menu:
- Click Providers on the left side of any RFX screen.
- In any tab (Active, Pending, Inactive), click the View button
next to the provider's name.
- Click the Privileging tab on the left side of the provider’s page.
- Click on the Actions drop down
next to the desired Privileging record.
Actions Menu Options
The actions available in the menu will vary depending on the Privileging Status.
Checklist Incomplete / Incomplete:
Must Know! If the committee review process has begun, any additional changes to the checklist will not be reflected in the committee process. If the document is REQUIRED for committee review, the privileging process would need to start over again.
- Manage Checklist – Allows the user to review, add and delete the checklist documents. For more about this, see Managing Provider Checklists.
- Committee – Enables the user to generate an appointment summary, select the committee type, and send the packet for signatures. Click for more information, see Committee Review Overview
- Temporary Privileges –Set temporary privileges and upload supporting documentation.
- Edit Appointment – Provides the option to change the appointment type and dates if needed.
- Delete – Deletes the entire privileging record, including any documents associated with it.
Active / Expired:
- Edit Appointment – Provides the option to change the appointment type and dates if needed.
- Add Document –Upload a document.
- Archive – Archive the privileging record, keeping it in the provider’s record but not as an active privileging record.
- Delete – Deletes the entire privileging record, including any documents associated with it.
