Managing Expiring Items

When a log entry triggers an alert due to an expiration date, it will appear on the Expiring Items screen.    To address log entries that trigger with an alert that is NOT related to an expiration date, see Managing Compliance Issues.

Expiring items will turn orange in the app and magenta once they are expired. These items are also included in the weekly reports sent on Wednesdays.

Tracking Expiration Dates

  • When creating a log, choose the Date column type to track expiration dates.
(For more details, see Adding Log Templates.)
